No Waiting Periods
Enrolling early could make you eligible for this plan without any waiting periods for pre-existing conditions.
Pre-existing conditions refer to any medical issues for which you received treatment or advice from a physician within six months prior to your coverage start date. Missing the enrollment deadline might result in a waiting period for coverage of these conditions.
Guaranteed Acceptance By Enrolling Early
You are guaranteed acceptance for Blue Medicare Supplement plans without needing to complete a medical questionnaire if you meet the following criteria:
- You are over 65 years of age, or under 65 years old and qualify for Medicare due to a disability.3
- You apply within six months of enrolling in Medicare Part B.
- You are not enrolled in specific Medicaid programs.
- You reside in North Carolina.
