With BCBSNC’s Blue-to-Blue program, Medicare Supplement members have the flexibility to switch plans at certain times during the year. This means you can always adjust your coverage to better fit your needs and budget.

See The Doctor You Want

No matter which Medicare Supplement plan you select, you can see any Medicare-approved doctor or visit any Medicare-participating hospital. In most cases, BCBSNC handles your Part A and Part B Medicare claims along with your supplement claims automatically.

No Waiting Periods

If you enroll early, you may qualify for coverage without waiting periods for pre-existing conditions. A pre-existing condition is a health issue for which you received medical advice or treatment within six months before your coverage starts. Enrolling early helps you avoid potential delays in coverage.

Guaranteed Acceptance By Enrolling Early

You cannot be turned down for Blue Medicare Supplement plans and may not need to complete a medical questionnaire if you meet the following requirements:

  • You are 65 or older, or under 65 and qualify for Medicare due to disability. 3

  • You enroll within six months of enrolling in Medicare Part B.

  • You are not covered by certain Medicaid programs.

  • You are a resident of North Carolina.

Exercise Programs

The Silver&Fit® program provides access to low-cost gym memberships at fitness centers near you. If you prefer to exercise at home, you can choose the Home Fitness Program instead.

Alternatively, you can enroll in the Home Fitness Program and work out in the comfort of your own home.
